Kaged Muscle’s new take on an old favorite is about to dramatically improve your athletic performance.

Finding innovation in sports supplements doesn’t always happen in significant leaps, but when it does you should take notice. This is especially true when it comes to one of the world’s most researched performance aids: beta-alanine. “The delayed release technology of SR CarnoSyn® allows athletes and bodybuilders to take a higher dosage of beta-alanine with minimized tingles (paresthesia) that many users find uncomfortable when the dosage is over 2g,” explained Kris Gethin, Kaged Muscle’s CEO.

“Several new studies have shown increased benefits when the dosage of beta-alanine is increased to 6.4g daily. Now Kaged Muscle customers can take additional beta-alanine with minimized effects of the tingles using our new SR CarnoSyn® tablets. Each bottle contains 120 tablets (2 tablet serving size equals 1,600 mg of sustained release beta-alanine). This can be taken by itself 2-3 times daily or stacked with PRE-KAGED and IN-KAGED for advanced users that would like to target 6.4g daily.” This dose of 6.4g per day is the scientifically proven efficacious dose for athletic performance improvement.

Why Beta-alanine?

Beta-alanine is up there with creatine in terms of studies to back up its effectiveness as an elite performance enhancer. The International Society of Sports Nutrition recently reviewed over 100 clinical trials, and discovered in every instance it’s the real deal. Beta-alanine delivers advantages to activities lasting 1-4 minutes, such as a 400m sprint or beasting through a big set under the bench press.

It acts to prevent the lactic acid build-up in your muscles, so you can train longer before that burning sensation pulsates through your working muscles. With so much research behind it, it’s no wonder there are plenty of sub-par versions creeping onto the supplement scene. To make sure you’re getting what you pay for, it’s wise to use a brand with the most researched authority behind it.

CarnoSyn® beta-alanine stands head and shoulders above its competitors because it’s the only beta-alanine proven by science to enhance athletic performance in more than 55 independent, peer-reviewed studies. You expect a lot from your body. Treat it accordingly. Look for CarnoSyn® on the label.

How much beta-alanine should you take?

Numerous studies have demonstrated that in order to realize enhanced performance benefits, athletes should take beta-alanine for 28 days until they reach a minimum threshold of 90 grams. It has also been scientifically shown that you do not have to take the same amount of beta-alanine each day to reach your performance goals.

Proper dosing can be obtained through several methods. Beta-alanine that is often referred to as “instant-release”, can often cause the side effect of paresthesia, a prickling or tingling sensation. Sports nutrition scientists often suggest that users take a lower dosage amount for the first few days to determine their tolerance prior to a move to higher, more effective doses.

Once tolerance levels are determined, users can then create their own proper dosing regimen to reach a threshold goal of 90 grams taken over 28 days and, if desired, take more to achieve even higher performance benefits. Unlike some other sports nutrition ingredients, with beta-alanine, more is better.
