A whole damn lot can happen in a decade so imagine what you’d have missed out on if you skipped the last 10 years. Smart phones, self-driving cars, Netflix, social media ‘models’ – okay, so at least some of it wasn’t’ that great, but it’s worth sticking around for another 10 to see what happens and Harvard claims it can help. They say that maintaining these five habits by the age of 50 will keep you around long enough to annoy your children.

  1. Eat well with quality foods
  2. Don’t smoke
  3. Don’t drink more than 2 units a day
  4. Regular exercise of 30 minutes daily
  5. Stay at a healthy body weight

It’s all self-explanatory stuff that even a 10-year-old could probably tell you, but it’s good to take stock of the nasty habits that can easily creep into your daily life. It’s worth sticking around because you never know what you’ll be able to achieve when you’re sat in your self-driving sun-powered car – perhaps you’ll be able to revive an extinct dodo for it to be deep fried by KFC.
